Ever feel like you are moving too fast?
I am here to remind you… slow down. You are exactly where you need to be. Here are some ways to keep this real for you.
1. Be still.
Find a quiet spot, inside or out and just sit. Close your eyes, listen to the sounds around you and focus on the present.
2. Or do the opposite…move!
Do any physical activity makes you happy. Run, cycle, walk, zumba, mountain climb! Aim to do this at least 3 times a week. This will help keep your mind stimulated and in the moment, rather than focusing on past or future. Releasing some endorphins are just a bonus!
3. Connect with a friend
Try to meet with a friend or family member and just catch up. Have them talk about what is new and good in their life. If you can’t meet face to face, give them a ring and chat for 5 minutes. Make sure this conversation stays positive so you can too.
