Homemade Nut Milk has never been simpler. I love catching a good sale with bulk nuts and stock up!
You will need a blender, some sort of fine mesh strainer/cheesecloth/nut milk bag, nuts, filtered water!
Soak nuts for 12-24 hours and keep refrigerated. Strain and remove excess moisture from nuts. Place 1 cup of nuts in blender with 3-4 cups of filtered water. (I have done it with both amounts and both are tasty just depends on your preference)
Blend and high pulse until liquid. Pour almond milk through strainer/bag/cloth etc. Add in anything you may want to add (cinnamon, honey, vanilla, sea salt)
I recommend 3 pinches of sea salt for every quart of milk, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and few drops of vanilla extract! YUM
